Myzontids are pitiless and calculating killers, and are the perfect snipers, and either operate with, or are associated with, a lone marksman who will often take a day or longer working himself into position to eliminate his target.
From Khurasan Miniature's Blog Mike Broadbent has created the 15mm Rattler model, which has six legs which plug into holes along the main chassis of the unit, as well as a gun torso and head, which like the legs is posable. As can be seen from the photo below, there's some flexibility in the models -- for instance, simply remove the hatchet head of the Rattler and its whole looks changes to a more arachnoid look. These are also quite suitable as sentry robots or similar for 28mm gaming.
This enormous beast of a vehicle is shown below with one of its wheels attached -- eight will eventually be cast, four to a side. (It's propped up in quarters for these photographs.) Attaching the wheels will be quite simple with their unique and weight-bearing wedge attachment points. As the vehicle functions as a main battle tank, with a powerful energy weapon on the roof, and at the same time as a transport for a circle of Felid warriors (ten, not counting vehicle crew), it needs to have the size to fulfill both missions at the same time, and as can be seen in this comparison to a 15mm scale T34/85 tank, it's got it! It's substantially longer than the tank, and towers over it. Should be available for purchase in a month or so. Tank Design by Mark Mondragon
The females of this horrible species frequently reach lengths of 60 feet or more, and live underground, making multiple tunnels to the surface, then laying in wait below ground, sensing the slighted vibration and the best tunnel to use to surprise the unwary creature above the surface. The creature will then rush to the surface, impale the prey with its spiky mouthparts, and suck all of the juices from the creature, leaving a dried, leathery husk. Naturally the prey often attempts to fight back, but the bloodworm's segmented armour is like steel, protection from the sharpest spear or sword. The males are small and inoffensive creatures that live at the roots of trees placidly sucking the sap, and are sought out by the females only for mating, though they are a delicacy on Mystri Island when they can be dug up. A towering worm monster well over 25mm tall, this creature will be a serious menace for your Mystri Island adventurers, and would even give serious pause to a 28mm character! Sculpted by Mark Evans. Bloodworm painted by Carl Robson.
These are deployed by drop pod by the Pelagic Dominate, often hours, days or even weeks before an invasion. They sow mayhem in the enemy lines, as they are able to stalk the enemy whilst nearly invisible, slowly creeping forward or ensconced in an ambush position, standing motionless for hours or even days before striking precisely and with lightning speed. If the invasion fails, they often go feral and constitute a major menace to the sentient population. Two stalking poses, two striking poses.
these are a sentient Reptilian species that evolved from a race similar to the great Tyrannosaurs of old Earth. Hulking and powerful, the exclusively carnivorous Garn are driven by two hearts and a relentless appetite for flesh and booty. These warriors need little protection other than their own thick, scaly skin as each wears an advanced technology force field on its back, and they carry large weapons of considerable power. In short, the normal Garn warrior is easily a match for the elite power armoured terran soldier, and is possessed of an irresistible will to conquer.
