Dark Nebula Games – Obsidian Confederation

Dark Nebula GamesHere are some of the figures I received from Dark Nebula Games.  All the figures were extremely well cast.  Each ship comes with a plastic base and a metal stand.

The first releases are for the Cyprian Rift game are the Obsidian Confederation.  The figures to the left are the Assault Frigate, Light Carrier and the Destroyer.

As you can see most of the larger ships will be around 4-5 cm long.

There are a total of 8 ship classes in the Obsidian Confederation including 2 carriers.

Neo-Iskandrian Powered Armour TrooperBack in 2001 I had a chance to go visit Urban Mammoth in Scotland.  It was a pretty cool experience and had a blast.  I am always a little excited to see what they pump out.  The graphics guys are always so good.

Here is the first look at the Urban Mammoth Neo-Iskandrian Powered Armour Trooper.  So far I am really liking the look of this new army.  There are a few more pictures of the Neo-Iskandrian Powered Armour Troops on Urban Mammoth’s Google+ account

The figures are scaled for 28mm-32mm Sci-Fi gaming.

I received some figures from Armies Army. The figures look great and compare nicely with other manufacturers 15mm figures. The detail is great for 15mm and I found little if any flash on the ones I received. The bases are a little thicker than ACP Games figures. You will not have to worry about the figures breaking because of a weak base.  The figures have that Soviet feel to them, at least to me they do.

Here are some pictures of an upcoming 15mm tank or should I say Ogre tank known as the LandKreuzer P 1000 Ratte by Forged In Battle.  The tank is over a foot long.  This was a design for a German secrete weapon that never came to be.

Twilight – Fantasy Game

I came across what looks like a very interesting fantasy skirmish game called Twilight.  The miniatures are sold by Hasslefree Miniatures and figures and world are created by Mike Thorp.  The figures look outstanding with tons of character.  Now these figures would probably work just as well on a Sci-Fi table as they would on a fantasy table.
